How can we use the concept:

The commutative property of addition states that you can change the order of the addends and the sum will be the same. For example 2 + 6 = 8 and 6 + 2 = 8.

The commutative property of multiplication states that changing the order of the factors will result in the same product. For example, 2 x 6 = 12 and 6 x 2 = 12.
